7th HIC/RPC BIOSEPARATION CONFERENCE 2011 in Estoril, Portugal
The HIC/RPC Bioseparation Conference series provides a unique forum for in-depth discussions on downstream bioprocessing related to some powerful modes of biochromatography: Hydrophobic Interaction, Reversed Phase and related Mixed Modes. The conference is focused on the better understanding of the hydrophobic nature of biological targets and their chromatographic isolation and purification based on this understanding.
The 7th HIC/RPC Bioseparation Conference will be held from March 21-24, 2011 in Portugal at the Hotel Palacio Estoril located on a stretch of coastline called the Portuguese Riviera near Lisbon. The scientific committee of the 7th HIC/RPC conference is being headed by Professor Dr. Alois Jungbauer, University of Natural Resources and Applied Life Science (BOKU), Vienna, Austria.
Traditionally the conference seeks to maintain an optimal balance of fundamental science/engineering and industrial advances and applications. This also includes novel applications or process optimization related to conjugated proteins and biosimilars. Internationally recognized speakers from academia and industry will provide insights into their areas of expertise. This combination of knowledge and experience will lead to a deeper understanding of molecular interactions and improved process design for hydrophobic interaction and reversed phase purification steps as well as for a range of related new technologies, such as multi modal chromatography. The session on industrial applications will be include a key note lecture about Biosimilars.
