From Digitally Proven to Clinically Proven




Digital technology has sparked a revolution in health and wellbeing, and, increasingly, people are keeping track of their activity levels and diet through smartphones, watches, and tablets. The key challenge, and opportunity, for pharmaceutical companies is to harness this trend effectively in a way that increases levels of engagement and loyalty among patients.

Social media has great potential in clinical trials, right from patient search and recruitment to monitoring product usage, compliance, and ensuring patient engagement. Clinicians need to learn how to use online social media platforms to improve recruitment rates, increasing recruitment efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
