Kinase Inhibitors for the Treatment of Non-Cancer Indications Dawn on the Horizon?

Despite their success in the treatment of cancer, kinase inhibitors have so far failed to show any real promise in other disease areas. By focusing on acute conditions requiring short dosage regimens, however, it may only be a matter of time before they become recognised as effective therapy for non-cancer indications.
